Mission Statement

Our mission is to combine the system of mixed martial arts and education in a way that promotes a healthy lifestyle, better grades, breeds confidence and self esteem in underprivileged children of greater San Diego. By utilizing the fastest growing sport in the United States, we intend to raise the level of creativity, focus and desired long term results in children’s after school programs.

Our Philosophy
Children are truly a gift from God that needs to be cherished and nurtured. Each child has his/her own unique and special talents regardless of socio-economic status. These elements can flourish through a strong After School Mixed Martial Arts Program. We believe that the UK-1 Program will provide this opportunity.

Our Objective

The objective of the After School Care Program is to provide experience for personal growth, increased educational support, and social development through mixed martial arts. By providing this opportunity we intend to create a brighter opportunity for underprivileged children in the greater San Diego area. These goals can be accomplished through various activities and projects such as:
Mixed Martial Arts Training Health and Nutrition Training
Supervised Group Recreational Activities Life Skills Training
Homework Assistance and Tutoring Anti-Bullying Training

Our Goals

The goals of the UK-1 after school staff are to implement positive truth, honor, academic achievement, personal integrity, courage, and to respect the students who attend the program, and to provide a climate conducive to personal growth.
